Number lines tool is an online utility which adds line number to each line of the given text.
As a start enter or paste in the text into input textarea. Specify if you wish to add line numbers on left or right side (left side is default). Optionally specify prefix (characters before each line number) and suffix (characters after each line number) of line number.
For example enter prefix as "#" if you wish to get line numbers as "#1, #2, #3, etc" or enter suffix as ". " (default) if you need to receive "1. , 2., 3., etc". Of course it's possible to combine prefix and suffix, so you can create line numbers format which suits your needs.
When all parameters are set, then submit the form by clicking on add line numbers button.
